The Cottage

Set in its own sunny courtyard, with a small barn/games room, the Cottage has accommodation for 8 people.

Inside, beamed ceilings and original features abound. Its thick stone walls and shutters keep the interior cool in the heat of summer.
The accommodation includes a spacious farmhouse kitchen with dresser and dining area, and is equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher & microwave. It leads to a larder and laundry area. An adjoining salon offers a relaxing sitting area and has French doors opening to small internal courtyard.

Upstairs there is a large master bedroom (kingsize bed) with dressing area and ensuite shower room + WC and a further bedroom (double bed) also with ensuite shower room + WC.

A small landing leads to a walled roof terrace with sitting area and views over farmland to the village of La Baume-de-Transit.

There are 2 additional bedrooms downstairs (one kingsize and one twin) plus a separate shower room + WC.

Through the back door there its access to open farmland, olive trees and the swimming pool.

We’ve recently returned from a fabulous week staying in the Old Stone Cottage, the house is spacious, airy and has beautiful views over the lavender fields. The house has a stunning swimming pool which we spent every day relaxing around. The house is very close to a number of small villages each hosting a local market with lots to see and do – if you can drag yourself away from the pool that is. Mike and Glyn were great hosts and made us all feel very much at home.
